Aging is inevitable and with it comes a decline in metabolic, neurological, and behavioral processes. Progressive accumulation of potentially toxic metabolites, called Advanced Glycation Endproducts (AGEs) constitute the molecular basis for several health aberrations associated with aging. At AGE Biosciences, we are using inspiration from natural products and combining them with rational drug discovery strategies to target AGEs and associated secondary inflammatory processes. We have several programs in the pipeline spanning different drug modalities that take a multipronged approach to slowing the accumulation of AGEs and advances healthy lifespan, by protecting against metabolic and neurological decline.
